SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, May 14th from 9:15 - 2:00 in the Village Hall
The LB Bird Friendly team and several other Village groups are thrilled to invite you to join us on World Migratory Bird Day 2022 to learn about the new Bird Friendly initiative and several other conservation efforts in the Village, participate in some fun activities and enjoy a burger or a coffee... all while catching up with friends and neighbours after two loooong years of COVID!
Learn more about...
Being Bird Friendly and Bear Smart,
Indigenous plants - from the Native Plant Garden team and Deanna Lewis of the Squamish Nation,
Biodiversity - from the Átl'ka7tsem/Howe Sound Biosphere Region.
And...
Sign the kids up for one of two Bird Friendly activities while you browse the various exhibits and have a tea/coffee - by the Seniors Social Circle.
But wait, there's more!
Take a walk with the Trailblazers to Eagle View Loop to see our eagles (and hopefully by then, eaglets!) and return to the hall for a burger (thanks to members of the Curly Stewart Scholarship Committee for doing the grilling).
Look out for details in the Village Update, on Facebook and here on our website over the next few weeks. Everyone is welcome!
