DECEMBER 28th

Lower Howe Sound Christmas Bird Count

Once again, residents are asked to count birds on feeders and in backyards on this specific day. If you're doing a feeder count, please follow these instructions.

If you are able to count birds along the shore below the railway track, please use the main data sheet to record your count OR, if it is easier, simply email a list of species seen and the number of each to mdjw@telus.net.

In general, please follow the instructions on how to count and record what you see. Overall, don't worry if you don't think you're an expert birder.  Just do the best you can.  Take a picture if uncertain and try using the Merlin app as a back up.
